Meet the Creators, Writers & Producers
Adie has worked within the music industry for over 25 years, initially as a professional musician touring and recording with several bands and then mainly as a recording studio-based engineer and producer. He set up and runs Unit 2 Studios where he has worked with amongst others Gus Dudgeon, The Fun Lovin Criminals and both Paul Cooke and Glenn Matlock of the Sex Pistols.
Adie has several film and TV credits to his name. He wrote and recorded two songs for Andrew Birkin’s ‘The Cement Garden’, co-wrote and recorded the soundtrack for ‘Straight Way Lost’ by Jack Weatherley (which was selected for the 2011 year BFI London Film Festival with special mention for the soundtrack) and completed playing and recording 5 songs for the Tiger Aspect production ‘Walking and Talking’. Adie also recorded the song ‘Guardian Angel’ by Lucie Silvas for Walt Disney as well as the song ‘Walking The Dog’ featuring predominantly blind musicians (also with Paul Cook) for a charity record for Guide Dogs For The Blind.
Anna-Christina began playing the piano and cello aged 12 and wrote her first full orchestral piece when she was 14. One of her first classical piano compositions met with the approval of Richard Blackford (the British TV, Film, Opera and Emmy Award nominated composer) and was chosen for a music competition to represent her school. She excelled in composition and performed at The Royal College of Music and St Paul's Church for the Royal Family several times.
Anna-Christina has a Distinction in Sound Engineering, a Diploma in Sound and Music Technology as well as a BTEC HNC in Music Production. She composes music for film, TV and media use. She has also been a professional musician, touring and recording in various projects as a musician as well as a singer and has released several recordings. She is the author and narrator of Music Audio Stories.
Meet the Illustrator
Jenika has been reading and drawing comics for as long as she can remember. After attending Scuola Romana dei Fumetti (Roman School of Comics) in Italy she moved to the United Kingdom where she self-publishes her award nominated comic book series Vampire Free Style: the story of a black cat in a world of magic, mysteries, vampires and witches. Her series has sold over 5,000 copies at comic conventions over Europe, has been praised by reviewers, has a loyal following and has been requested as set dressing for the movie 'This Must Be The Place'.
Jenika helped design the "Storytime with Anna-Christina" logo and is currently working on creating Music Audio Stories first activities book!
Meet the Web Designer
Lee is a web and graphic designer based in Bournemouth with years of freelance and studio experience. This self taught designer is also a skilled sound engineer and musician. Lee has designed a number of unique websites that balance advanced techniques with creativity, modern touches and individuality.
Meet the Graphic Designer
Nick is an accomplished graphic designer who studied art at Central St Martins before working in house as a graphic designer at Ogilvy and Mather. He then turned freelance and created the promotional artwork for Tomb Raider and has also contributed to Marvel and 2000AD. He is responsible for Music Audio Stories beautiful story covers and badges.
Meet the Artists & Actors
Kiria is a singer, songwriter and guitarist who fronts her own band. She is also a business entrepreneur with her own brand of animal friendly organic products 'Missy LePink'.
David Ryder Prangley
As well as being a successful singer/songwriter and touring with other bands, David works with many bands and artists as a producer.
You may have seen Paul as Mr Wormwood in the award winning West End hit musical Matilda. An Olivier nominated actor, Paul has appeared in numerous TV and film roles.
Geffin Katz Kaye
Geffin is the youngest member of the team. He is our rockin' Robin which also happens to be his favourite song!
Rob is a musician and a singer. It was a lot of fun listening to him performing Jimi's song at the end of Jimi & his friend Joe!
Tom is our Big Band beat master. You can find him touring the world drumming for some of today's biggest artists such as Kylie Minogue, Duffy and Girls Aloud.
Acting since the age of ten, Susie gained a full scholarship on a 3 year musical theatre course at the Midlands Academy of Dance and Drama. She stared as Harriet in the Play Colder Than Here.
Belle has worked as a drummer/percussionist for many bands and artistes and has done a considerable amount of production and mixing-related work for a number of bands and projects.
Cormac Mc Coy
Cormac has been a drummer and musician for 14 years. As a kid he took a keen interest in Jim Carey and fell in love with voices and character creation.
Lou-Lilâ always loved singing, acting, dancing and taking part in any kind of musical and artistic project. As well as a performer, she is a stage designer.
A songwriter and performer, Aris is also an artist. Together, with Aaron John, they wrote and performed their theme song in Robert & Johnson's Space Adventure.
As well as being a musician and songwriter in his own band, Aaron John owns and runs his own business Zeff Music - A music licensing company.
Sadie has always wanted to be three things. A radio dramatist, circus performer, or Kate Bush. Trained in Musical Theatre at The BRIT School, she studied Creative Industries: Acting at Bird College of Dance and Drama.
Emma has always been involved in the creative arts. She is a Yoga teacher, an artist, a dancer and has even trained with the circus making her the perfect person for Polly the Dolly in our circus story.
