I am delighted to announce my Storytimes at Canons House & Grounds this Summertime! Grade II listed Canons House operates as a joint community and workspace. It has a cafe, a historic running track, a walled garden, a fun play area, a beautiful community garden, a medieval dovecote and pond, and an obelisk at the entrance.
As part of Library in the Park, I have been invited to do three Storytimes throughout the Summer. Children will love my fun, engaging, interactive, creative and educational workshops.
Children will:
Hear a read-aloud of the Billy Joins the Circus picture book (with a song)
Enjoy seeing the colourful pages and meeting the characters in the story
Listen to the music audiobook and have fun singing and dancing along
Learn about the circus and a brief history of when and how it began
Love Chris the Caterpillar story and learning about caterpillars and flowers
Join In singing and dancing with the fabulously fun Superhero Bugs story
Discover what superpowers the bugs in the story have
Colour In character printables they can take home
