Bank Holiday Weekend Singing, Dancing, Drawing and Fun At The O2!
Last month, I had so much fun doing my Storytime, Book Signing and running the Music Audio Stories stall at The O2. I was delighted when I was invited back this month to do it again over the Bank Holiday Weekend.
Families were able to drop in at the Upper Level of Outlet Shopping for my Storytime, check out the Music Audio Stories stall and get signed copies of my picture books. This time, I did four short workshops, spread over the morning and afternoon, which gave more children a chance to join in.
As with all of my Storytimes, I included a fun read-aloud of my picture book, drawing, singing, and dancing, and the children loved listening to the stories and hearing the characters' voices and the songs. Children also learned about the circus and the Big Top.
It was so much fun seeing them pointing out the characters in my book and creating their own drawings of the story.
Although my workshops with the children are short and sweet, I manage to cover all the activities I would do in a longer session, and this includes drawing. I love seeing how children interpret the characters from my story and scenes from my book. We end up with some great drawings!
